Carrington Ranges Development

Driveway onto Carrington Road

Christine has decided to release her Carrington Road blocks early!

These blocks are well known to Tableland horse enthusiasts as it was once home to Christine's equestrian training facility & her champion horses. Bordered as it is on two sides by State Forest, it is a perfect location for those that want to feel like they are away from it all, while being only minutes from the conveniences of the Atherton CBD.

The intention of the subdivision is to establish a more sustainable and environmentally friendly upgrade to rural residential living. In keeping with this theme, the development aims to focus on homes that blend with nature, on bringing the forest and it's birdlife into the subdivision, and planting abundant native plants and suitable trees.  Plantation trees (house unfriendly ones!) currently on the block will be recycled into beautiful timber post and rail fences that will line the road and the development, in line with the rustic charm that the property currently exudes.

The Southern and Western sides of the property are bordered by State Forest making it a bird watching and nature lovers paradise. Northern views bring sights just as spectacular as you overlook the Forest Reserve toward Mt Baldy.

A Development Application is currently being lodged with the Tablelands Regional Council. We hope to have these blocks ready for release in early 2012. You can see below an indicative layout and examples of a few concepts, the final details of which are being fine tuned at present.
